Good Morning, Saigon in Heidelberg

When I exited Tiger and Dragon's Food Store, I went to the shop next to it.  It turns out to be a Vietnamese restaurant!

Its name is Good Morning, Saigon.

Its picture menu appears as big posters on the wall behind the counter, where the workers assemble what the customers order.

The goi cuon (spring rolls) look darker than the ones I see at home.

The banh mi (sandwiches) are huge.

The restaurant serves bun tieu (meat rice vermicelli soup) and hu tieu (meat and shrimp rice vermicelli soup) but not pho.

Banh xeo (crispy pancakes - - they are savory rather than sweet) are currently the reason why I go to Vietnamese restaurants.

These plates of stir-fried noodles are huge as well.

The essential drink at a Vietnamese eatery: cafe sua da (iced coffee with condensed milk).

I plan to eat here at some point soon.
