Burgfreiheit and Sunday House Church - September 14, 2014

For our third meal at Burgfreiheit, we sat in the dinning room upstairs, which is more spacious and brighter than the dinning room downstairs.

The last students to join us included Jack, Jake, Laura, and Megan. They had walked straight from the train station to Burgfreiheit.

They had spent the weekend hiking and camping in the Black Forest, and they were happy to enjoy a Sunday dinner of asparagus soup and meatballs with potatoes.

Having refueled, the campers walked back to Moore Haus.

The campers paused to take in the view on their way back to Moore Haus.

On Saturday, I walked to Rewe, which is similar to a Ralph's in the U.S. I found brown sugar in granule form there. Since then, baking cookies requires significantly less energy.

Sydney taste tested two types of my chocolate chip cookies before Sunday House Church.  The plate closer to her consists of dark chocolate chip cookies.  The plate farther from her consists of milk chocolate chip cookies.  Sydney prefers the milk chocolate chip cookies.

Ashley, Sarah Jane, Kristina, and Joel served as the praise team.

Ashley gave a devotion

Ashley referred to a passage in the Bible during her devotion.

Micah closed House Church with prayer.

The plates of cookies came back empty to me.  I am delighted.
