Dinner at Die Alte Gundtei with the Wuttke's and the Shatzer's - Nov. 7

Yesterday, the Wuttke's treated the Shatzer's and me to dinner at my and Frau Wuttke's favorite restaurant in Heidelberg: Die Alte Gundtei, which specializes in Turkish food.  Drs. Milt and Nancy Shatzer currently serve as the visiting professors for the Florence Program.  They choose to spend this weekend in Heidelberg.  They served as the visiting professors for the Heidelberg Program about seven years ago.

For dessert I ate baked stone apple for the very first time.  The texture resembles a hard pear.  It tasted great with honey syrup.  Thank you, Christina and Markus, for this delightful treat!
